Harbor Cruise

Bodega Bay Tours offers hour-long cruises around the harbor featured in Alfred Hitchcock's classic, "The Birds." The boat tours start near the dock where Tipi Hedren began her most famous adventure.

Bay Sail

There's a lot more to see in Bodega Bay than the birds.  Sail outside the harbor for an extended tour, and you can take photos of the scenic Sonoma Coast from the water.  You may even see migrating whales.

Hitchcock Walk

Hitchcock chose Bodega Bay to film "The Birds" for good reason. It is world-famous among birdwatchers. Take our drive-and-walk tours to see  where Hitchcock filmed and where the birds still gather.

Melanie

The Mystery of "Melanie"

Bodega Bay Tours starts with the story of "Melanie," a raised-deck cruiser from the golden age of American yachts.

Today, she takes passengers on cruises around Bodega Bay, a historic village 60 miles north of San Francisco. But in the 1920s, legend says, Melanie was a rum runner.

Melanie launched in 1928, the height of Prohibition. But her history is a bit of a mystery, like her namesake. "Melanie" was also the name of the main character in Alfred Hitchcock's suspense film "The Birds," which was filmed in Bodega Bay.
